Step 1 – Install and Configure Nullsoft Streamcast

Streamcast is server software to allow you access that data stream that the TV Capturing software is outputting.

Goto http://www.shoutcast.com/download/serve.phtml and download the latest version of Streamcast.  Instructions on how to install and configure your ShoutCast server are on that same page as well.

If you just want to stream TV through your shoutcast server and nothing else, you can download a pre-done configuration file here:

For the rest of the article, we will assume that you will be using the pre-done configuration file.  Key settings in this file are:

PortBase: 9000

Password: streamtv

Load the Shoutcast Server.
